The world over, 14th February is celebrated as the day of love. Heartfelt messages on cards are given and received; roses are displayed, and chocolates are consumed at an almighty rate!
However, If you fancy something a little less commercial, and a lot more enjoyable, a couple's massage is a beautiful way to share love, and really connect with your partner. When you use essential oils and add the benefits of aromatherapy to your experience, it can help to release stress, improve relaxation levels, heighten libido, and increase levels of oxytocin - the love hormone!
The following is a beautiful blend of essential oils that not only smells amazing, but will really set the scene for love and romance - Enjoy!
Using 50ml Carrier Oil (Sweet Almond, Grapeseed, or Apricot Kernel are excellent choices), add the following essential oils:
- 4 drops lavender
- 2 drops sandalwood
- 2 drops cedarwood
- 2 drops geranium
- 1 drop ylang ylang
Apply liberally all over your partner's body and massage in. Avoid direct oil contact with the eyes. ... and relax!
